Aegis Research 

Aegis Research was established on 6 May 2025 by two scholars, Associate Professor Dr Azmil Tayeb and Dr Nurfarhana Che Awang with a shared vision to build a research firm grounded in intellectual integrity, social commitment, and humanistic values. Aegis was established with the support of a manager Mrs. Akmar Bakar who brings valuable experience in leadership and organisational management. 

Our work is guided by a core philosophy built on three enduring principles: Wisdom, Insight, and Veracity. These values shape not only what we research but also how we engage with knowledge and the communities we serve.

At Aegis, we believe that research is a moral and civic undertaking. Our mission is to pursue the truth through rigorous, transparent inquiry, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the flourishing of human civilisation.
